The 10th Annual Girl's Night In

The Annual Girl's Night In social kicked off the 2011 - 2012 year with a bang. We thank all of those who participated in the jewelry fundraiser and we look forward to this event next year!

 

Light the Night Walk

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Light The Night Walk is an annual event to raise funds for cures. It’s the nation’s night to pay tribute and bring hope to thousands of patients and their families.

The Light the Night program brings hope and help to people battling blood cancers.

Adopt-A-Family Holiday Raffle
(Project Holiday Happiness Programs)

Annually, SRZ participates in Holiday Happiness programs in which they adopt families and provide food and gifts for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. These items are acquired from the proceeds of our holiday raffle and donations from local businessess and individuals.

Theatrical Play "Love Should Not Hurt"

Zeta Phi Beta, Sorority Incorporated-Sigma Rho Zeta Chapter will shed light on Domestic Violence the through the "Love Should Not Hurt" program .

 

Cary Band Day

Cary Band Day is always a fun family event. Thank you for joining the Zetas in the parade in downtown Cary!

The route officially began at the corner of Academy & Chatham (by Ashworth's Drugstore), proceeded down Academy, around the old Cary Elementary School building, and then down Walnut to end at Cary High School.

 

Kid's Vote

Kid's Voting gets students involved and ready to be educated, engaged citizens. Students learn about democracy through a combination of classroom activities, an authentic voting experience and family dialogue.

 

 

Prematurity Awareness Campaign

SRZ Participated in the Coins Add Up: A Partnership for Change is a March of Dimes program which was used to not only raise awareness on premature births but also to raise money for research. African American Read In

The African American Read In supports literacy initiatives. SRZ has enthusiastically participated via the sharing of poetry, books, literary discussions and case studies. In 2012, the African American Read In program will celebrate 22 years of literacy promotion. You can get more information about the African American Read In program by visiting the AAR site. Triangle Youth "Step-Off"

The Triangle Youth "Step-Off" has some of the best middle school, high school, community, club, and church step teams in the area compete for cash and prizes.

Over 600 were in attendance at the last event. Join us in making the next event the biggest and best Triangle Youth "Step-Off" to date!

Proceeds from this event benefited the SRZ College Scholarship Fund.

 

Z-Harmony Bachelor Auction

The Sigma Rho Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated will presented their second annual Z-Harmony Bachelor Auction Fall 2010 at Carmens' Cuban Cafe & Lounge in Morrisville, NC. We are always looking for individuals interested in participating in this event.

March for Babies

The WalkAmerican March of Dimes program is now called the March for Babies program. Its still all about the babies. Visit the site for more information on how you can get involved with our local chapter. Visit the March for Babies site for more information about this initiative.

 

Special Olympics

The Special Olympics is an international nonprofit organization* dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition.
